The “Huckleberry Drop” on New Years Eve sponsored by the New Bloomfield Fire Co. takes place on the square from the Court House clock tower. If the event is scheduled and volunteers are available, hot refreshments are served; along with an entourage of local entertainers performing “Father Time/Baby New Year” to culminate the New Years’ activities.
