NRPS is pleased to announce the next annual Canal Day on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will be offering a full schedule of entertainment, including music and a children’s activity area. Our event is held on Second Street, from Walnut Street to Mulberry Street.

Gather your gal pals and head to Newport on Friday, November 6th from 6 pm to 9 pm for our annual Ladies’ Night! A fun and festive night to get an early start on Christmas presents for yourself and those on your list. Merchants throughout town will be offering specials and refreshments.
Community members are invited to participate in the annual fall cleanup. Volunteers will meet at the Landisburg Church of God before dispersing to cleanup locations throughout town. All ages are welcome to take part in this community effort.
